Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the online store operated by Tårnby Outdoor, including your purchase of products and use of any related services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our online store.

By visiting our store, browsing our products, placing an order, creating an account where available, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with any other policies made available through our online store.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights that you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

1. Business Information

The seller and operator of the online store is:

Tårnby Outdoor
CVR number: 43884093

Registered address:
Brønderslev Alle 25
2770 Kastrup
Denmark

Email: post@taarnbyoutdoor.dk

Business representative: Tine Sander Hedegaard

In these Terms, Tårnby Outdoor may be referred to as “we,” “us,” “our,” the “Company,” or the “Seller.”

A person accessing or purchasing through our online store may be referred to as “you,” “your,” the “customer,” or the “user.”

2. Scope of the Services

Through our online store, we may offer:

  • Physical products;

  • Product information;

  • Online ordering;

  • Payment processing;

  • Delivery services;

  • Customer support;

  • Returns and refunds;

  • Customer accounts where available; and

  • Other related e-commerce services.

Certain features may be provided through Shopify or other third-party service providers.

We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue individual features or services where reasonably necessary, subject to any contractual or statutory obligations that apply to existing orders.

3. Acceptance of These Terms

By using our online store, you confirm that:

  • You have read these Terms;

  • You understand these Terms;

  • You agree to comply with these Terms; and

  • You are legally capable of entering into the relevant transaction or have the appropriate authorization to do so.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not place an order or use Services that require acceptance of these Terms.

4. Eligibility to Make Purchases

You must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to enter into a binding purchase agreement.

If you are under the age at which you may independently enter into a purchase contract, you should only place an order with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required.

We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe that:

  • The purchaser lacks legal capacity;

  • The transaction is fraudulent;

  • Payment information is unauthorized;

  • The order violates applicable law; or

  • The order violates these Terms.

Any statutory rights available to consumers remain unaffected.

5. Customer Accounts

Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information;

  • Keeping your information up to date;

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;

  • Restricting unauthorized access to your account; and

  • Notifying us if you reasonably suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You must not intentionally provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information when creating or using an account.

We may restrict access to an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.

6. Product Information

We aim to provide product information that is accurate and reasonably up to date.

Product pages may contain information including:

  • Product descriptions;

  • Specifications;

  • Dimensions;

  • Compatibility information;

  • Features;

  • Included accessories;

  • Photographs;

  • Videos;

  • Availability; and

  • Pricing.

Product images are intended to represent the product as accurately as reasonably possible.

However, the appearance of colors or other visual characteristics may vary depending on:

  • Screen settings;

  • Device type;

  • Lighting;

  • Photography; or

  • Display technology.

Minor visual differences that do not constitute a legal lack of conformity do not automatically mean that a product is defective.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where a product materially differs from the description or does not conform to the purchase contract.

7. Product Specifications and Compatibility

Where products have technical, size, model, system, vehicle, device, or other compatibility requirements, customers should review the relevant product information before ordering.

If you are uncertain whether a product is suitable for your intended use, you may contact us before placing an order at:

post@taarnbyoutdoor.dk

Any compatibility statements we provide will be based on the information reasonably available to us.

Customers should provide accurate information when requesting compatibility assistance.

This section does not limit statutory rights relating to inaccurate descriptions, defects, or lack of conformity.

8. Product Availability

All orders are subject to product availability.

Displaying a product through our online store does not necessarily guarantee that unlimited quantities are available.

Products may:

  • Become unavailable;

  • Sell out;

  • Be temporarily unavailable; or

  • Be discontinued.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed and we cannot reasonably fulfil the order, we will contact you and take appropriate action, including refunding amounts paid for the unavailable product where required.

9. Prices

Product prices will be displayed through our online store.

The price applicable to an order will normally be the price shown during checkout when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors where permitted by law.

Any applicable:

  • Taxes;

  • Shipping charges;

  • Delivery charges; or

  • Other required charges

will be displayed or otherwise communicated as required before completion of the purchase.

We may change prices for future purchases at any time.

Price changes do not retroactively alter an order that has already resulted in a binding purchase contract, except where permitted by applicable law.

10. Pricing Errors

Although we take reasonable steps to maintain accurate pricing, technical or administrative errors may occasionally occur.

Where a clearly incorrect price is displayed, we may contact you before fulfilling the order.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, we may:

  • Ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price;

  • Cancel the affected item; or

  • Cancel and refund the affected order.

We will not use this provision to avoid valid orders merely because a price later becomes commercially unfavorable to us.

Mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected.

11. Placing an Order

To place an order, you may be required to provide information including:

  • Your full name;

  • Billing information;

  • Delivery address;

  • Email address;

  • Telephone number;

  • Product selection;

  • Quantity; and

  • Payment information where applicable.

You are responsible for checking your order details before submitting the order.

Please ensure that your:

  • Product selection;

  • Quantity;

  • Delivery address;

  • Contact details; and

  • Other order information

are correct.

12. Order Confirmation and Acceptance

After an order is submitted, you may receive an electronic confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order.

An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that every order has been finally accepted where applicable law allows additional order verification.

We may perform reasonable checks relating to:

  • Product availability;

  • Payment authorization;

  • Delivery information;

  • Suspected fraud;

  • Pricing errors; or

  • Legal restrictions.

A purchase contract will be formed in accordance with the information presented during checkout and applicable law.

13. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

We may refuse, limit, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • The product is unavailable;

  • Payment cannot be authorized;

  • Delivery information is materially incomplete or invalid;

  • An obvious pricing or product listing error has occurred;

  • Fraudulent activity is reasonably suspected;

  • The transaction is prohibited by law;

  • The order appears to involve unauthorized resale or abuse; or

  • Fulfilment is impossible for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, amounts paid for the cancelled portion will be refunded as required.

We will not use this section to unlawfully restrict statutory consumer rights.

14. Payment

Available payment methods are those displayed during checkout.

Payment method availability may depend on factors including:

  • Customer location;

  • Order value;

  • Currency;

  • Product;

  • Payment provider; and

  • Delivery method.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payments may be processed by independent payment providers.

Your use of a payment service may also be subject to that provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.

15. Payment Authorization and Verification

Orders may be subject to payment authorization and security checks.

Where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, or payment abuse, we or our payment providers may request additional verification.

We may delay fulfilment until required payment authorization has been completed.

If payment cannot be authorized, the order may be cancelled.

16. Taxes

Applicable taxes will be handled in accordance with the tax treatment applicable to the transaction.

Where tax is included in the displayed price, this may be indicated during checkout or through the relevant product or order information.

Where legally applicable, customers may remain responsible for taxes, duties, or charges imposed by authorities that are not collected by us during checkout.

Any mandatory information concerning such charges will be provided as required by applicable law.

17. Shipping and Delivery

Orders will be delivered using the shipping options available for the relevant destination.

Any delivery estimates displayed through our store are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.

Actual delivery times may be affected by circumstances such as:

  • Carrier operations;

  • Destination;

  • Customs procedures;

  • Public holidays;

  • Severe weather;

  • Incorrect delivery information; or

  • Other events outside our reasonable control.

More detailed delivery terms may be provided in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms where applicable.

18. Delivery Information

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

Please check:

  • Recipient name;

  • Street address;

  • House or apartment number;

  • Postal code;

  • City;

  • Country;

  • Email address; and

  • Telephone number

before submitting your order.

If you become aware of an error, contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that delivery information can be changed after an order has entered fulfilment or shipping.

19. Failed Delivery

Where a delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information provided by the customer, failure to collect the parcel, or another circumstance attributable to the customer, additional reasonable costs may apply where permitted by law.

This does not affect your statutory rights or our responsibilities where the failed delivery was caused by us or by a party for whom we are legally responsible.

20. Risk and Ownership

Risk in purchased goods will transfer in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to transfer transportation risk to a consumer earlier than permitted by mandatory consumer law.

Ownership of products may remain with us until full payment has been received where legally permitted.

21. Returns, Withdrawal and Refunds

Returns, order cancellations, statutory withdrawal rights, refunds, damaged products, and defective products are governed by our Return and Refund Policy together with applicable consumer law.

Please review the Return and Refund Policy before making a purchase.

Nothing in these Terms or the Return and Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

22. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

If a product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or does not conform to the purchase contract, please contact:

post@taarnbyoutdoor.dk

Please provide information reasonably necessary for us to investigate the issue, which may include:

  • Order number;

  • Product information;

  • Description of the problem;

  • Photographs; or

  • Videos.

Available remedies will be determined in accordance with the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

These rights are separate from any voluntary commercial warranty that may be offered.

23. Commercial Warranties

Some products may include a manufacturer's or seller's commercial warranty.

Any commercial warranty is subject to the specific warranty conditions provided with the relevant product or product listing.

A commercial warranty is additional to mandatory statutory rights and does not replace or reduce rights that consumers have under applicable law.

24. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer:

  • Promotional discounts;

  • Coupon codes;

  • Product bundles;

  • Limited-time offers; or

  • Other promotional campaigns.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotions may be subject to availability;

  • Promotional periods may be limited;

  • Codes may have eligibility requirements;

  • Certain products may be excluded;

  • Discounts may not be combinable; and

  • Each promotion may have additional conditions disclosed when offered.

We may withdraw or modify a future promotion where reasonably necessary.

This does not affect completed purchases or mandatory customer rights.

25. Gift Cards and Store Credit

If gift cards or store credit are offered, additional terms may apply.

Any:

  • Expiration rules;

  • Usage restrictions;

  • Refund conditions; or

  • Redemption requirements

will be disclosed where applicable.

Nothing in such additional terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

26. Accuracy of Customer Information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when:

  • Placing an order;

  • Creating an account;

  • Contacting us;

  • Requesting support; or

  • Requesting a return or refund.

You should update information where reasonably necessary to allow us to complete your transaction.

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused solely by materially inaccurate information supplied by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

27. Acceptable Use

You may use our online store only for lawful purposes.

You must not use the Services to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations;

  • Infringe intellectual property rights;

  • Commit or facilitate fraud;

  • Submit deliberately false information;

  • Distribute malware or malicious code;

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts;

  • Interfere with website security;

  • Circumvent technical protection measures;

  • Scrape or harvest personal information unlawfully;

  • Impersonate another person;

  • Conduct unauthorized automated activity that damages the Services;

  • Send unlawful spam or malicious communications; or

  • Engage in conduct intended to disrupt the operation of our store.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address prohibited activity.

28. Fraud Prevention

We may use reasonable fraud prevention and security measures to protect:

  • Customers;

  • Payment systems;

  • Our online store;

  • Service providers; and

  • Our business.

Orders reasonably suspected of fraud or unauthorized payment activity may be delayed, investigated, refused, or cancelled.

Where necessary and permitted by law, relevant information may be provided to:

  • Payment providers;

  • Banks;

  • Fraud prevention providers;

  • Authorities; or

  • Other appropriate parties.

29. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content made available through our online store, including:

  • Text;

  • Graphics;

  • Logos;

  • Product presentation;

  • Website design;

  • Photographs;

  • Videos;

  • Icons;

  • Illustrations; and

  • Original written content

is owned by us, licensed to us, or otherwise used with authorization.

You may use website content for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from protected content without authorization where such authorization is legally required.

Third-party trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

30. Product Reviews and User Content

Where our store allows reviews, comments, photographs, videos, or other customer content, you are responsible for the content you submit.

You must not knowingly submit content that:

  • Is unlawful;

  • Is fraudulent or deliberately misleading;

  • Infringes intellectual property rights;

  • Violates another person's privacy;

  • Contains malicious code;

  • Contains unlawful threats or harassment; or

  • Is otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

You retain any rights in your content that cannot legally be transferred.

By voluntarily submitting content for publication, you grant us the permission reasonably necessary to host, display, reproduce, and technically process that content for the purpose for which it was submitted, subject to applicable law.

31. Review Moderation

We may moderate or remove user-generated content where reasonably necessary because it:

  • Violates applicable law;

  • Violates these Terms;

  • Contains spam;

  • Contains fraudulent information;

  • Infringes another person's rights;

  • Contains malicious material; or

  • Is unrelated to the relevant product or service.

We will not intentionally manipulate customer reviews in a manner that unlawfully misleads consumers.

32. Third-Party Services

Our online store may rely on third-party service providers for functions including:

  • E-commerce hosting;

  • Payments;

  • Shipping;

  • Analytics;

  • Customer support;

  • Fraud prevention; and

  • Marketing.

Third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

We are responsible for our own obligations to customers as required by applicable law, but we do not control the independent operations of third-party websites or services.

33. Shopify

Our online store may use Shopify's e-commerce technology.

Shopify provides technology and infrastructure that may allow us to operate our online store.

Your purchase of products from our store is a transaction with Tårnby Outdoor as the seller, except where expressly stated otherwise.

Your use of certain Shopify features may also be subject to relevant Shopify terms and policies.

34. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites.

These links may be provided for:

  • Additional information;

  • Payment processing;

  • Shipping;

  • Social media;

  • Product information; or

  • Other services.

We do not control independent third-party websites.

Before using an external service or providing personal information, you should review its relevant terms and privacy policy.

The inclusion of a link does not necessarily mean that we endorse every statement, product, or service provided by that third party.

35. Privacy and Personal Information

The processing of personal information in connection with our online store is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains matters including:

  • Information we collect;

  • How information is used;

  • Service providers;

  • Payments;

  • Delivery information;

  • Cookies;

  • Marketing;

  • Data retention;

  • Security; and

  • Data protection rights.

Please review the Privacy Policy before using our Services or providing personal information.

36. Service Availability

We aim to keep our online store reasonably available.

However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of:

  • Maintenance;

  • Technical problems;

  • Hosting outages;

  • Network failures;

  • Security incidents;

  • Third-party service failures; or

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, we will take appropriate steps to restore affected Services.

37. Website Errors

Website content may occasionally contain:

  • Typographical errors;

  • Technical errors;

  • Pricing errors;

  • Product description errors;

  • Availability errors; or

  • Other inaccuracies.

Where legally permitted, we may correct errors and update information.

Corrections will not be used to unlawfully alter a binding consumer contract or remove mandatory statutory rights.

38. Disclaimer Regarding General Website Information

General information provided through our website is intended to help customers understand our products and Services.

Customers should follow any product-specific:

  • Safety instructions;

  • Installation instructions;

  • Operating manuals;

  • Compatibility requirements; and

  • Manufacturer guidance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility where liability cannot legally be excluded.

39. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for losses that:

  • Were not reasonably foreseeable;

  • Were not caused by our breach;

  • Result solely from unauthorized or unlawful customer conduct; or

  • Are otherwise lawfully excludable or limitable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.

In particular, these Terms do not limit mandatory consumer remedies relating to defective or non-conforming goods.

40. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where performance is prevented by circumstances outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.

Examples may include:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Severe weather;

  • Major transportation disruption;

  • War or civil disturbance;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Major telecommunications failures;

  • Widespread infrastructure failures; or

  • Other comparable events beyond reasonable control.

This provision does not remove rights or remedies that customers are entitled to under mandatory law.

41. Indemnification

Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for reasonable losses arising directly from your unlawful misuse of our Services or deliberate violation of another person's rights.

This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify us for losses caused by us, for matters outside the customer's responsibility, or where such an obligation would be unlawful or unfair.

42. Suspension or Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access to non-essential website functions where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Fraud;

  • Security threats;

  • Serious violation of these Terms;

  • Unauthorized system access;

  • Malicious activity; or

  • Legal requirements.

Termination of website access does not remove rights or obligations relating to purchases already made, including:

  • Payment obligations;

  • Delivery obligations;

  • Returns;

  • Refunds;

  • Warranty rights; and

  • Statutory consumer rights.

43. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent reasonably necessary and legally permitted.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

44. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not necessarily mean that we waive the right to enforce it later.

Any waiver will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

45. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with applicable policies and information provided during the ordering process, form the terms governing your use of our Services and purchases from us.

Related policies may include:

  • Return and Refund Policy;

  • Privacy Policy;

  • Shipping Policy;

  • Payment Policy; and

  • Other policies displayed through the online store.

Where there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory applicable law, mandatory law will prevail.

46. Governing Law

These Terms and our contractual relationship are governed by the laws applicable to Tårnby Outdoor in Denmark, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules and conflict-of-law rules that may apply to customers in other jurisdictions.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections that apply under the law that cannot contractually be excluded.

47. Disputes

If you have a complaint or dispute concerning an order, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.

Contact:

post@taarnbyoutdoor.dk

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any right to:

  • Use an applicable consumer complaint procedure;

  • Contact a competent consumer protection authority;

  • Use an applicable alternative dispute resolution procedure; or

  • Bring a claim before a competent court

where such a right exists under applicable law.

48. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time because of:

  • Changes in applicable law;

  • Regulatory requirements;

  • Changes to our Services;

  • Changes to our payment or delivery systems;

  • Security requirements;

  • Changes to third-party service providers; or

  • Changes to our business operations.

The current version will be made available through our online store.

Changes to these Terms will not unlawfully remove rights that have already arisen under an existing consumer contract.

The “Last updated” date at the top of these Terms indicates when the current version was issued.
