Last updated: August 17, 2026
This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Tårnby Outdoor.
We want customers to shop with confidence. This Policy explains your rights and the procedures applicable to cancellations, returns, defective products and refunds.
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable Danish or European Union consumer protection law.
1. Business Information
The seller responsible for your order is:

CVR number: 43884093
Registered address:

In this Policy, Tårnby Outdoor may be referred to as “we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Seller.”
2. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, where the statutory right of withdrawal applies.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If an order contains several goods delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when the final item is received.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
You may contact us at:
Your notice should preferably include:
-
Your full name;
-
Order number;
-
Email address used for the order;
-
Product you wish to return; and
-
A clear statement that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.
3. Returning Goods After Withdrawal
After notifying us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
Please contact us before returning a product so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Unless we provide you with a different authorized return address, returns may be sent to:
Tårnby Outdoor
Brønderslev Alle 25
2770 Kastrup
Denmark
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your shipping receipt and tracking information until the return has been completed.
You are responsible for ensuring that returned goods are appropriately packaged for transportation.
4. Return Shipping Costs
When you exercise the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal because you have changed your mind, ordered the wrong product or otherwise wish to cancel a purchase without the product being defective, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Original shipping charges will be refunded where required by applicable law.
If you selected a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional cost attributable to the more expensive delivery method.
If a product is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the contract, return shipping costs will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and Section 9 of this Policy.
5. Condition of Returned Goods
You may inspect or handle a product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.
You may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.
Where applicable, we recommend returning the product with:
-
Original accessories;
-
Manuals;
-
Components;
-
Included parts;
-
Protective materials; and
-
Original packaging where reasonably possible.
Missing packaging alone does not automatically remove statutory consumer rights. However, damage, excessive use, missing components or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary may result in a deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
6. Refunds Following Withdrawal
If you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund payments received from you in accordance with applicable law.
This may include the original standard delivery costs where required by law.
We will process the refund without undue delay and no later than the period required by applicable law.
For returned goods, we may withhold the refund until:
-
We have received the returned goods; or
-
You provide satisfactory evidence that the goods have been sent back,
whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is agreed with you.
If the original order was paid using Cash on Delivery, we may request reasonable payment information, such as bank account details, in order to complete an approved refund.
Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
7. Order Cancellations Before Shipment
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been shipped, contact us as soon as possible at:
Please include your order number and cancellation request.
We will try to stop the order before shipment where reasonably possible.
If the order has already entered the shipping process or has been dispatched, we may not be able to cancel the shipment. In that situation, you may exercise any applicable statutory right of withdrawal after receiving the goods.
8. Refused or Uncollected Deliveries
Simply refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not necessarily constitute sufficient notice that you are exercising your right of withdrawal.
If you wish to cancel an order, you should clearly notify us at:
Additional shipping, return or handling costs resulting from an uncollected or refused parcel may be charged to you where permitted by applicable law.
This does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order after delivery.
If you receive a product that is:
-
Damaged;
-
Defective;
-
Incorrect;
-
Missing essential components; or
-
Otherwise materially different from what you ordered,
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please provide:
-
Your order number;
-
Your full name;
-
A description of the problem; and
-
Photographs or videos where reasonably necessary to help us assess the issue.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include:
-
Repair;
-
Replacement;
-
Price reduction; or
-
Refund.
We will determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
Where a valid defect or non-conformity claim requires the product to be returned, we will bear the reasonable return costs where required by law.
You should contact us before sending a defective product back so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.
10. Two-Year Statutory Right to Complain About Defects
Consumer purchases covered by Danish consumer law generally benefit from a two-year statutory right to complain about defects or non-conformity.
This statutory right is separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal.
The statutory complaint right generally concerns defects that existed when the product was delivered or where the underlying cause of the defect existed at that time.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to remedies such as:
-
Repair;
-
Replacement;
-
A proportionate reduction in price; or
-
Cancellation of the purchase and refund where legally applicable.
Any commercial warranty offered for a product is additional to, and does not replace or reduce, mandatory statutory consumer rights.
11. Products Damaged After Delivery
We are not responsible for damage caused after delivery by circumstances for which we are not legally responsible, including where applicable:
-
Accidental damage;
-
Misuse;
-
Improper installation;
-
Unauthorized modification;
-
Failure to follow product instructions;
-
Improper maintenance;
-
Exposure to unsuitable conditions; or
-
Normal wear and tear.
However, this provision does not exclude claims relating to defects or non-conformities for which we remain responsible under applicable law.
12. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain categories of goods or services where an exception is permitted by applicable law.
Depending on the nature of the goods, examples may include:
-
Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized;
-
Goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
-
Sealed audio, video recordings or computer software once unsealed;
-
Digital content supplied electronically after performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement of loss of the right of withdrawal; and
-
Other goods or services specifically excluded from the statutory withdrawal right by applicable law.
An exception will only be applied where legally permitted.
13. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange a product, please contact us at:
Whether a direct exchange is available may depend on product availability and the circumstances of the return.
In some cases, the simplest procedure may be to return the eligible product and place a new order for the replacement product.
This section does not limit any statutory right to repair or replacement for defective or non-conforming goods.
14. Refunds for Promotional or Discounted Products
Products purchased during a promotion or at a discounted price are subject to the same mandatory statutory consumer rights as products purchased at the regular price.
Where an eligible promotional product is refunded, the refund will normally be based on the amount actually paid for that product, subject to applicable law.
Where a discount depended on the purchase of several products together, returning part of an order may affect the calculation of the discount where permitted by law.
15. Partial Refunds and Diminished Value
Where permitted by applicable law, we may make a reasonable deduction from a refund if the value of a returned product has decreased because it was handled or used beyond what was reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.
Any deduction will be assessed based on the circumstances and the actual reduction in value.
This does not apply where a deduction would be prohibited by applicable consumer law.
16. Refund Method
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.
Depending on the payment method used, this may include:
-
Refund through the original online payment provider;
-
Bank transfer for eligible Cash on Delivery refunds; or
-
Another refund method agreed between you and us.
We do not normally issue refunds in the form of store credit unless you expressly agree to receive store credit.
17. Processing Times
After we issue a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Payment provider processing time is outside our direct control.
If you have received confirmation from us that a refund has been issued but have not received the funds after a reasonable period, please contact your bank or payment provider first.
You may also contact us at:
18. Return Responsibility
Until returned goods are received by us, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of them.
We recommend:
-
Packing the product securely;
-
Using suitable protective packaging;
-
Using a tracked shipping method;
-
Keeping proof of postage; and
-
Keeping the tracking number until the refund or return process has been completed.
We are not responsible for returned packages lost or damaged during transportation where responsibility legally remains with the customer.
This does not apply where we arranged or controlled the return transportation or where applicable law provides otherwise.
19. Proof of Purchase
We may request reasonable proof of purchase before processing a return, complaint or refund.
Acceptable proof may include:
-
Order confirmation;
-
Order number;
-
Payment confirmation;
-
Receipt; or
-
Other information reasonably sufficient to identify the purchase.
20. Abuse and Fraudulent Returns
We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraudulent or abusive return requests.
This may include situations involving:
-
Products not purchased from us;
-
Altered proof of purchase;
-
Deliberate product damage;
-
Substitution of returned products; or
-
Other fraudulent conduct.
Nothing in this section permits us to refuse a legitimate statutory consumer claim.
21. Mandatory Consumer Rights
This Policy is intended to operate alongside applicable consumer protection laws.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
If any provision of this Policy conflicts with mandatory applicable consumer law, the mandatory consumer law will prevail.
22. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Return and Refund Policy from time to time to reflect:
-
Changes in applicable law;
-
Regulatory requirements;
-
Changes to our business operations;
-
Changes to our delivery or return procedures; or
-
Changes to our products or services.
The version applicable to your purchase will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the terms provided to you in connection with your order.
